Scope
Last updated: 14 July 2026. This Policy forms part of the Chick Terms of Use.
You must use Chick lawfully, responsibly, and only for intended personal wellness, food understanding, planning, and progress-support purposes.
No unlawful, harmful, or unsafe use
You must not use Chick to break the law, violate another person’s rights, harass, abuse, threaten, exploit, discriminate, defame, deceive, or cause harm.
You must not use Chick to support self-harm, eating disorder behaviour, extreme restriction, purging, dangerous dehydration, unsafe supplement use, dangerous exercise, or avoidance of professional care.
You must not use Chick for emergency decisions or urgent medical situations.
No medical or professional misuse
You must not present Chick outputs as medical advice, clinical recommendations, certified nutrition advice, laboratory results, diagnosis, treatment, or professional services.
You must not use Chick to provide services to patients, clients, customers, employees, students, athletes, or other third parties unless you are properly qualified, legally authorised, and take full responsibility for your professional judgement and compliance obligations.
You must not rely on Chick as the sole basis for decisions about medication, treatment, allergies, pregnancy, diabetes, eating disorders, illness, injury, or other high-risk circumstances.
No abuse of AI or feature limits
You must not deliberately feed Chick false, misleading, dangerous, unlawful, or abusive content to generate harmful outputs, manipulate the system, or evade safeguards.
You must not use Chick to generate content that encourages harm, illegal activity, deception, harassment, discrimination, dangerous health practices, or evasion of safeguards.
You must not attempt to extract hidden prompts, system instructions, model settings, internal logic, usage thresholds, security controls, provider details, or confidential information.
You must not create multiple accounts, use automation, share accounts, rotate identities, or manipulate requests to bypass fair-use controls, payment requirements, safety filters, usage limits, or access restrictions.
No security, technical, or commercial misuse
You must not interfere with Chick, overload it, scrape it, crawl it at scale, copy its content or outputs for competing services, reverse engineer it, test vulnerabilities without permission, distribute malware, or attempt unauthorised access.
You must not sell, rent, sublicense, resell, frame, mirror, white-label, commercially exploit, or use Chick to build or train a competing service without written permission.
You must not access paid features without payment, abuse trials or promotions, use stolen payment details, misrepresent your identity, dispute valid charges dishonestly, or misuse refunds, chargebacks, or support channels.
No scraping, benchmarking, competing systems, or resale
You must not use Chick to build, train, test, benchmark, compare, promote, or improve a competing product or service without our written permission.
You must not scrape, bulk export, harvest, mirror, frame, copy, resell, rent, sublicense, white-label, or commercially exploit Chick, its content, outputs, designs, flows, prompts, reports, or user experience without our written permission.
You must not use automated tools, bots, scripts, shared accounts, credential rotation, proxy rotation, or other methods to avoid payment, hide identity, bypass controls, increase usage, or obtain access beyond what is allowed.
No payment, refund, support, or dispute misuse
You must not use stolen, unauthorised, false, or misleading payment information. You must not create accounts or transactions to test payment systems, abuse promotions, obtain access without payment, or avoid subscription rules.
You must not misuse refund, chargeback, dispute, complaint, support, privacy, export, or deletion channels dishonestly or in a way that is abusive, fraudulent, harassing, or intended to bypass the Terms.
We may preserve and use relevant account, checkout, billing, consent, support, access, cancellation, refund, and dispute evidence where needed to investigate or respond to misuse.
No infringement or privacy violations
You must not upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, data protection, publicity, or other rights.
You must not upload photos, audio, health information, or personal information about other people unless you have a lawful basis and permission where required.
Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, throttle usage, suspend accounts, terminate access, report illegal activity, preserve evidence, or take other action where we reasonably believe this Policy has been breached or risk exists.
We may make enforcement decisions using automated and human review. We are not required to give advance notice where doing so would create risk, violate law, compromise security, or harm Chick or others.
A breach of this Policy does not entitle you to a refund unless mandatory law requires one or we expressly approve one.
